Shandong Summit Crystal Semiconductor Co, Ltd (SDSC) was established in May 2023 with a registered capital of RMB 200 million.It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangzhou Summit Crystal Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (SDSC)

SDSC is located in the southern sector of Jinan Intelligent Sensor Industrial Park (889 Hushan Road, Licheng District, Jinan, China), 20 km east of downtown Jinan and 25 km south of Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport. The park covers 110,000 m² and integrates R&D, manufacturing, office and accommodation facilities in one closed loop.

SDSC and Shandong University are both located in Licheng District, Jinan city, and have set up the industrialization base of the State Key Laboratory of Crystal Materials of Shandong University and the postgraduate joint-training base of Shandong University, which has facilitated the collaborative innovation between industry, academia, and research.

Silicon-carbide semiconductors are a top strategic priority for both Shandong Province and Jinan City. The Jinan fab is GZSC’s core step toward becoming a world-class supplier of SiC single-crystal substrates. With multi-party synergy, the region is poised to evolve into a globally influential silicon-carbide cluster within the next five years.
